Do you need to increase your income and bring in more cash in order to pay down personal loans or just get by? You don’t have to sweat it out at a terrible second job. There are plenty of ways to bring in a few hundred extra dollars a year:

1) Yard sales and auction sites. You probably have close to $1000 in junk around your home. Take a close look at your home. What do you hate? What do you no longer need? What do you dislike? Check in every nook, cranny, and dusty garage corner.

2) Sell your old clothes to consignment or used clothes shops. Many clothes stores will take your gently used clothes for a decent price. You can even sell larger or in-demand items – such as that wedding dress – online or through classified ads. Some people bring in a few hundred extra dollars this way.

3) Get tax receipts. If you have stuff to get rid of – appliances, an old car, clothes, and general stuff – many charities will write you a tax receipt for your donation and will even haul the stuff away. You will have to wait for your tax deduction, but you will get the best value for your stuff.

4) Sell your photos. Online stock photo sites pay a small amount for your digital photos. While you won’t get rich this way, taking a few extra snapshots when you’re out and about takes only a few seconds – and you can make a few extra bucks for it.

5) Be an extra. Being an extra can be a fun way to make extra cash easily and quickly if there’s a movie or show shooting in your area. You can earn a few hundred dollars or even a thousand dollars a day this way and even catch a glimpse of your favorite celebrity.

6) Rent out your real estate. Forget about pesky tenants and leases. You can rent your home to production companies shooting commercials, films, and TV shows. Just register your home with production companies, film firms, and advertising companies. It’s more lucrative and less of a hassle than renting your home (or a room in your home). Even if you have a parking spot, you can rent it during the day while you’re at work and make $50 or so extra a month.

7) Put ads on your blog or website. You can register with AdSense at no cost and make cash each time a visitor to your site clicks on an ad. It’s an easy way to make money in your sleep.
