The Truth > Rick Warren

Posted by : NewScorchedEarth

I really don’t understand why Rick Warren has such influence. This  guy is just one more fat tub of religious crap. He’s a shifty and perhaps more clever version of  Jerry Farwell. The first mistake Obama made in my eyes was letting this dirt bag have ANY part of his historic inauguration. He says one thing in public and as you see here something entirely different to his flock. When will be free from these religious morons?!!?

Here’s  what he told Larry King:

” As you know, Larry, there was a story within a story that never got told. In the first place, I am not an anti-gay or anti-gay marriage activist. I never have been, never will be.During the whole Proposition 8 thing, I never once went to a meeting, never once issued a statement, never–never once even gave an endorsement in the two years Prop 8 was going.

ummmmmmmm???

The real story

Glen Beck’s Xmas Sweater Ripped to Shreds

Posted by : NewScorchedEarth

Harlem Gospel does what Beck’s Father should have done. They pulled out and avoided Imminent disaster. The renowned Choir was scheduled to perform the opening act for the simulcast film of Glenn Beck’s novel The Christmas Sweater — A Return to Redemption. But the choir  pulled out of the event, citing financial reasons. It appears there much more to story….James Rucker, executive director of Color for Change which has helped persuade more than 80 advertisers to ditch Beck’s show said the group did an about-face after he called the choir. “We wanted to make sure they understood who Beck was,” Rucker said. “We believe their mission is about spreading the Gospel and and promoting harmony, and we thought Beck was the antithesis of that.” Rucker sent the choir excerpts from some of Beck’s shows, including one where he said President Obama “has a deep-seated hatred for white people.”
Beck’s one man freak show failed miserably!! In New York, Beck sold 17 tickets. In Boston, another 17. And in Washington, D.C., the hotbed of political activism, his tearful film drew only 30.
Here’s a review excerpt for the morbidly curious…The Christmas Sweater may seem to be the same kind of run-of-the-mill holiday tale of redemption and hope that we see every year about this time. But considering that the climax involves right-wing talk-show host Glenn Beck, in the guise of a 12 year old version of himself, crying on the stage floor in the fetal position while a large black woman sings hymns to him, I think it might leave viewers with a few more questions than the usual family fare. I could be wrong but I’m not sure the world is ready for Beck’s version of Christmas cheer. When I think of the holidays many images come to mind. A profusely sweating mental fat man in a sweater crying like a biotch is not one of them.

Come to Jesus Meeting with Ms. Palin

Posted by : NewScorchedEarth

So let me get this straight… God is going to solve our Health care, energy and national security issues? ??  By the way .. Which God are we talking about? If I can make a suggestion I’d like to offer up  Ometotchtli also know as the drunken rabbit god by the Aztecs. If we are going to make stuff up lets go the distance here sweetheart.Seems like a drunken rabbit is already in control of Ms Palin’s cranium. Perhaps we give the wheel to the mighty Ometotchtli  and see what the drunken critter can do with our nation……….

The former US vice-presidential candidate argued that a humble spirit could help leaders to get more answers on issues such as health care, energy and national security.

In a video released Friday by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, the 2008 Republican candidate for vice president, said it was important for leaders to recognize they don’t have all the answers.

Mrs Palin said: “No one person has all the right answers. It takes a united nation, and it does take godly counsel, and it takes prayer and answers to prayer – and a collective humble heart of a nation seeking God’s hand of protection and his blessings of prosperity.

“I think if we can get back to that, our country will be a safer, more prosperous and healthier nation.”

The former Alaska governor referred to an Abraham Lincoln proclamation that declared a day of national humiliation, fasting, and prayer.

She said the United States has been “touched by God” because the nation’s early leaders dedicated the country to God.

Say it ain’t so Sarah !!!

Posted by : NewScorchedEarth

Dec. 1) – Rogues, it seems, will be rogues: As she promotes her new book with an equally hyped down-home bus tour, former vice presidential candidate and Alaska governor Sarah Palin has been jetting to some stops on a Gulfstream II private jet, which rents for $4,000 an hour.

Palin took the plane on Nov. 21, 23 and 25 between book tour stops in Rochester, N.Y., Roanoke, Va., Fort Bragg, N.C., Birmingham, Ala., and Orlando, Fla. On Nov. 25, she then flew to Pasco, Wash., for Thanksgiving and was met at the airport by a bevy of journalists who filmed the landing

Larger media outlets have since played up the apparent bait-and-switch. This morning on ABC’s ” Good Morning America” Diane Sawyer introduced a segment on Palin’s private-jet use by saying that Palin “frequently can be seen photographed in front of the bus that she took on the road. But … you don’t often see photos of her in front of a very expensive private plane she’s been taking.” Correspondent David Wright then noted that Palin was traveling in style even as “her fans camped out in the bitter cold, just for the chance to meet her.”

Dana Perino

Posted by : NewScorchedEarth

Dana Perino made an odd claim Tuesday night.

On Fox News, the former press secretary suggested President Obama was playing politics by refusing to describe the massacre at Fort Hood as a terrorist attack. “We should call it what it is,” she said.

“We did not have a terrorist attack on our country during President Bush’s term,” she told Sean Hannity. “I hope they’re not looking at this politically. I do think that we owe it to the American people to call it what it is.”

Hello 9- 11 ring any bells??  This girl always reminded me of every girl who ever asked me to buy her a drink within the first 5 minutes of meeting her.I love how Bush and Fox think they can throw some eye candy up to the podium. I guess the idea is to distract from the never ending stream of verbal sewage these repubibots spew forth?
